Two Steelers were honored as the NFL’s best by their fellow players.

The AP’s 2025 NFL All-Pro team has yet to be released, but the NFL Players Association released their All-Pro first team on Jan. 8. Two Steelers made the cut: kicker Chris Boswell and special teamer Miles Killebrew.

The NFLPA All-Pro team carries some prestige as it is an honor decided exclusively by the votes of active NFL players. You can view an explanation of the voting criteria here.

Boswell’s inclusion isn’t much of a surprise. The Steelers’ kicker had a career year, leading the league in field goals made with 41, and ranking sixth in field goal percentage (he ranked second among kickers with 30-plus attempts, first with 40-plus).

Boswell was an incredible 13/15 in attempts from 50 yards or more, and he scored on all 35 of his extra point attempts. He also led the NFL in points scored for the regular season.

Killebrew was the other Steeler to make the All-Pro team, listed as one of two core special-teamers alongside the Patriots’ Brenden Schooler. Killebrew has made a career out of being one the league’s best special-teamers. Per Steelers.com, he recorded 13 total special teams tackles this season.

Killebrew didn’t block a punt this year, but has done so four times in his career.

Two surprising exclusions from the list were Steelers’ defensive stars Cam Heyward and T.J. Watt. Interior defensive linemen to make the list over Heyward were Chris Jones and Jalen Carter. Dexter Lawrence also made the team as the nose tackle.

At edge rusher, the AFC North’s Trey Hendrickson and Myles Garrett were named to the first team over Watt.
