Here’s a first look at the odds on the board for the Steelers Week 4 matchup against the Colts.

After their best win of the young season, the 3-0 Pittsburgh Steelers enter Week 4 as favorites once again as they prepare for a Sept. 29 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts (1 p.m. ET, CBS).

Pittsburgh struggled early against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3, but dominated in the second half en route to a 20-10 victory. Quarterback Justin Fields took command of the offense with a season-best 245 passing yards and two total touchdowns, while the Steeler defense shut out LA in the second half. There’s still work to do, but it looks like it’s finally coming together for Pittsburgh.

On the injury front, the Steelers dealt with injuries to pass-rusher Alex Highsmith, cornerback Cory Trice Jr., wide receiver Van Jefferson, and running back Jaylen Warren

versus the Chargers. Rookie right tackle Troy Fautanu will continue to be out on injured reserve in the coming weeks, while the return of starting left guard Isaac Seumalo is unclear.

The Colts also won on Sunday, advancing to 1-2 on the season with a 21-16 win over the Chicago Bears. On offense, quarterback Anthony Richardson continued his season of ups and downs — in this case, largely down — with 167 passing yards, 24 rushing yards, two interceptions, and no touchdowns. However, star running back Jonathan Taylor managed a 110-yard performance and two scores. On defense, Indianapolis allowed Bears quarterback Caleb Williams to have his first big performance with 363 passing yards and two touchdowns, but they also intercepted him twice.

The Colts also have some health issues, with three defenders, cornerback Kenny Moore II, defensive end Kwity Paye, and cornerback Dallis Flowers, leaving Sunday’s game with injury. The team had already placed star defensive lineman DeForest Buckner on IR.

Here’s a full look at the opening odds for Steelers vs. Colts in Week 4.

Steelers vs. Colts odds

Point spread: Steelers -1.5
Over/under: 38.5
Moneyline odds: Steelers -112, Colts -104

The Steelers are much better than the Colts in terms of record, and their aggressive defense seems primed to take on Anthony Richardson. Still, Pittsburgh is dealing with injuries and will be playing on the road once again, making the Steelers clear favorites but not by much.
