Pittsburgh adds some receiver help on Friday.

The Steelers added some receiver help Friday, with the team announcing the signing of wide receiver Andy Isabella to the practice squad.

Isabella previously worked out for the Steelers on Oct. 1. Here’s what we wrote about him then:

Isabella might be a familiar name to some. He was a popular name in the 2019 NFL Draft, with 102 catches for 1,698 receiving yards and 14 total touchdowns in his final year at UMass. More impressively, the 5’9, 188-pound wide receiver ran a blazing 4.31-second 40-yard dash at the combine.

Isabella was drafted in the second round by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. However, he failed to ever become a consistent contributor at the NFL level, with his best year coming in 2020 with just 224 receiving yards. Isabella has most recently spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, and Buffalo Bills.

He hasn’t recorded a catch since 2022, but still has 43 NFL games played under his belt.

Isabella joins Quez Watkins, Lance McCutcheon, and Brandon Johnson as the Steelers’ group of practice squad receivers.
