The so-called MVP can’t beat the Steelers

So this is really the NFL’s king, eh? The guy who is 2-4 in the playoffs and 0-4 in the postseason when his opponent scores more than 13 points? The guy who just went 16-of-33 against the Steelers in yet another loss to take his record against Pittsburgh down to 1-4?

The Steelers prove year in and year out that until further notice, they own the Baltimore Ravens and their quarterback, who has become amongst the more overrated players in the NFL. They have now won eight of their last nine against Baltimore, and have won their last four games against Jackson. And they’ve done so without allowing the Ravens to score 20 points in any contest since 2020. In five stars against the Steelers, Jackson has thrown five touchdowns to eight interceptions, as well as three fumbles lost, and has a passer rating of 66.7. Beat up all the bad defenses you want, but when the Ravens and Jackson play the Steelers, it’s the same old story – not good enough to beat the best defense in football.
