The former first-round pick is aware this could conclude his time in Pittsburgh
The Pittsburgh Steelers are heading into the wild card round where they’ll look to upset their arch rivals, the Baltimore Ravens. And while the obvious focus will be on the Steelers ending their playoff drought of eight years, an underlying story is that this could be Najee Harris’ final game with the Steelers.
Pittsburgh shocked many and declined to pick up Harris’ fifth-year option this past summer. But the former first-round pick is well aware of this potentially being the end, and isn’t phased by it.
“This is a business,” Harris said. “This is a production business… Whatever that is, it is. And, you know, if you said you did the best you can, that’s all you can do.”

Harris has eclipsed 1,000 yards in each of his first four seasons in the NFL. And while it’s possible he remains in Pittsburgh after testing the free agent market, this could very well mark the end for Pittsburgh’s 2021 first-round pick in the Steel City.
