Final practice report of the week…

The Pittsburgh Steelers held their final practice of the week on Thursday — their second of the week at Acrisure Stadium instead of their usual spot on the South Side, preparing for Saturday evening’s conditions as realistically as possible.

With the final practice of the week in the books, here’s a full breakdown of Steelers’ final injury designations, as well as their participation report for their final practice ahead of this week’s wild-card matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

It’s mostly good news on the Steelers’ final injury report ahead of the Wild Card Round, without too many surprises based on the practices leading up to Thursday.

Two players were officially listed as questionable for the Wild Card Round, including rookie right guard Mason McCormick and OT Calvin Anderson. McCormick, dealing with a broken hand, practiced in a limited fashion all week with a brace. Spencer Anderson took reps at right guard in practice on Thursday, Mike DeFabo of The Athletic reported, so it would seem safe to assume he’d get the start in McCormick’s spot if he’s not good to go.

DT Cam Heyward returned to full practice after missing Tuesday and Wednesday dealing with the flu. Though kicker Chris Boswell missed Wednesday and Thursday’s practice with an illness, both he and Heyward did not have a final injury designation for Saturday’s game.

After missing Week 18 with a nagging back injury, starting cornerback Donte Jackson is set to make his return against the Ravens this week — big news to have him back opposite Joey Porter Jr. this week. Jackson missed the team’s last matchup in Week 16 with the same injury.

Among those who were ruled out were two players in their 21-day practice window returning from injured reserve, including rookies Logan Lee and Roman Wilson, as well as LB Cole Holcomb, in his 21-day practice window returning from the PUP list.
