Pittsburgh is turning over every stone.
The Pittsburgh Steelers seem to be connected to just about every available quarterback, and even some quarterbacks that aren’t available at all. For the second straight year, the Steelers have uncertainty on who will be their 2025 starter, which leads to speculation on just about every signal-caller that could even potentially be on the market like the latest report from Ryan Burr says the Steelers are turning over every stone possible.
According to Burr, the Steelers reached out to the Jaguars about Trevor Lawrence. The former No, 1 overall pick and the Jaguars are coming off a bad year, going 4-13. Lawrence played in just 10 games due to injury.
While I respect and understand reaching out to Jacksonville (that’s Omar Khan’s job after all), the Jaguars aren’t trading Lawrence. They are paying him a ton of money and building around him with a new head coach and new front office that is currently being constructed.
Of course, fans would (and should) be over the moon if Lawrence somehow became a Steeler. but it’s just not going to happen.
