Loudermilk, 27, was drafted by the Steelers in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Wisconsin. He’s played in 11-plus games in every year of his career, appearing in 16 in 2024, logging 17 total tackles. He has five career starts.
Loudermilk returns to a Steelers defensive line that’s still a little thin after the initial week of free agency. The team released veteran starter Larry Ogunjobi, and the team’s only addition at the position has been former Patriots starter Daniel Ekuale on Sunday night.
With the recent signings, the Steelers now have a defensive line room of Cameron Heyward, Keeanu Benton, Montravius Adams, Loudermilk, Ekuale, DeMarvin Leal, Domenique Davis, Logan Lee, Dean Lowry, and Jacob Slade.
