The NBA fined Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards $35,000 for making an obscene on-court gesture during Friday’s 130-126 NBA Cup win over the Sacramento Kings, the league announced. The 23-year-old raised his middle finger toward what appeared to be someone in the crowd with 3:15 remaining in the first quarter.
