Best Jets vs. Steelers player prop bets for Week 7

We go over the lines on FanDuel Sportsbook and pick out our favorite player prop bets to consider for Jets vs. Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

The Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) and New York Jets (2-4) are back in primetime this week, with each team feeling like they’re in a must-win game.

Here are a few of our favorite player props to consider for the Steelers’ Week 7 matchup against the Jets.

Russell Wilson OVER 174.5 passing yards (-113)

Making your regular-season debut with a new team against the Jets secondary is less than ideal. However, this betting line feels borderline disrespectful for a veteran like Russell Wilson, particularly given some of the injuries the Jets are dealing with in the secondary. They could be without two of their three best cornerbacks in this outing. CB Michael Carter II has already been ruled out, while D.J. Reed (listed as questionable) looks to be more on the doubtful side, having not practiced at all this week dealing with a groin injury.

Wilson surpassed this passing yard total in all but three games last season. He had 22 or fewer pass attempts in the three games where he didn’t.

Jaylen Warren 3+ receptions (-113)

This is an alternate line, as Warren’s line to go over 1.5 receptions has odds of -176 — meh. Warren managed 3 receptions in his return to action coming off a knee injury just last week, and now, he gets to catch balls from a quarterback who led the league with 8.8 pass attempts to the running back position per game. In the first two weeks of the season before Warren’s injury, he was running more routes than Harris and should see plenty of opportunities as they look to get the ball out quickly and get their rusty QB into rhythm Sunday night.

Will McDonald IV to record a sack (+102)

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been dealing with an injury bug along the offensive line all season, losing three intended starters to season-ending injuries (C Nate Herbig, RG James Daniels, RT Troy Fautanu). They’re also contending with some poor play from second-year OT Broderick Jones, who resumed his place at right tackle after Fautanu’s injury. I mean, this might actually be the worst rep of all time:

McDonald leads the Jets with seven sacks this year (21 total pressures) and should give Jones fits all night. Wilson is no stranger to pressure either, having totaled the third-most pressures in the league last season despite playing just 15 games per PFF.
