The Steelers allowed a game-winning touchdown with under a minute left.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 8-3 after their loss to the Cleveland Browns last Thursday night in Cleveland. It was their third loss this season by one score, and they were in prime position to win following a Donte Jackson interception late in the fourth quarter. However, the offense stalled and a shanked punt set the Browns up in good field position to set up Nick Chubb’s second touchdown of the game to win it. Speaking on Not Just Football, Cam Heyward said the defense needed to be better.

“When I first got here, it was about ‘you can’t surrender more than 17 points,’” Heyward said. “Our team put up 19 points on offense – that should get the job done. If we get off the field and our offense gets the ball back with the lead again, I think we win that game.”

The Steelers held the Browns to just one third-down conversion, but it came on the last drive that set up the touchdown. The Browns were also 4-of-4 on fourth down.
