De'Aaron Fox has no intention of extending in Sacramento

The initial framing, back in July, was that De’Aaron Fox had merely taken a calculated financial gamble by holding off an extension. It was common knowledge that he would have access to even greater riches in 2025 if he could earn All-NBA honors and make himself eligible for a supermax extension worth more $300 million. Yet now we’re being told that Fox has no intention of extending in Sacramento … regardless of the outcome of this season. Perhaps earning that All-NBA selection could have changed that stance, but that certainly doesn’t seem likely at the moment.
