Moore gets paid.

  • Former Pittsburgh Steelers left tackle Dan Moore Jr. has earned his big payday, officially agreeing to a monster four-year, $82 million contract with the Tennessee Titans, Adam Schefter reports. The deal includes $50 million in guarantees, including $30 million in 2025.

Despite up-and-down play over his four-year tenure with the Steelers, Moore was expected to be among the most sought-after tackles in this free-agency class after star left tackle Ronnie Stanley was re-signed by the Baltimore Ravens to a three-year deal.

Moore, a fourth-round pick out of the 2021 NFL Draft, has started at left tackle in each of his four seasons with the Steelers. However, he struggled significantly in his third season, ranking second among offensive linemen with 55 total pressures allowed in the 2023 regular season. His 39.7 PFF pass-blocking grade that season was the third-lowest among all offensive tackles (min. 400 pass-blocking snaps).

He did, however, bounce back early on in 2024, though he struggled down the stretch. With questions about the development of first-round OT Broderick Jones and rookie RT Troy Fautanu dealing with an injury, Moore started the entire season at left tackle, with Jones playing right tackle. In 1,110 snaps at left tackle last year, Moore is credited by PFF as having allowed a career-high 12 sacks, 26 hurries and 41 pressures. After allowing just two total sacks in the team’s first nine games, Moore had four games with 2+ sacks allowed over the final eight contests.

The Titans, who hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, have done some work rebuilding its offensive line, signing center Lloyd Cushenberry III and drafting J.C. Latham in the first round of the 2024 draft, joining 2023 first-round pick Peter Skoronski to play left guard.
