Kevin Durant on 2019 Finals: I felt fine, bro. I felt perfectly normal. I felt like everything was good. I think we were going to win the Finals. I think we were going to come back from being down 3-1 and win that series. A three-peat was the main goal. Nobody had done that since the Lakers. I was like, “We need to do that.” That was on my mind the whole playoffs—trying to three-peat and do something special. We had a great chance. Right before that night, I was thinking, “We’re going to come back from down 3-1 and get this three-peat.” But things happen. It taught me a lot about myself and my body. It was tough to go through, but I learned a lot.
