Nico Harrison on if Luka Doncic is a champion-level player: 'That's kind of an unfair question'

I asked Harrison if he considers Doncic to be a champion-level player. After all, the star led the Mavs to two Western Conference Finals and one NBA Finals appearance by 25 years old. It was a simple question in all reality, but Harrison had no interest in answering it, rather choosing to call it “unfair” while focusing instead on the Mavericks’ future outlook. “You know, that’s kind of an unfair question,” Harrison said. “Luka’s no longer on this team. What I am excited about is I do believe we have a championship-caliber team and we will show that next year.”
