Come and join this merry band of Steelers’ faithful for some lively debate about our Steelers, good food, music, and the merits of the odd cold beverage.

Live from Delaware, it’s Wildcard Weekend Saturday pre-game edition! I, NAS204PSU, am here to bring you this Saturday Tailgate Open Thread (aka STOT).

It’s do or die time for 12 NFL teams this weekend, including our beloved 6 Steelers playing at the 3 Ravens. Can the black and gold stem the bleeding after 4 losses, now playing a win or go home game? Or is this tourney too late for a tourniquet?

This 6 pack of questions is here to get the conversation going is below, also let us know what you’re eating/drinking!

  1. The Steelers made it 4 losses in a row on Sunday to the Bengals, but are playing wildcard weekend. Have you ever had a time when you suffered defeat after defeat after defeat, but had to keep going? What gave you the strength to endure?
  2. In sports psychology, visualization is the technique where an athlete imagines achieving their goal, which can actually help improve their performance. Visualize watching the Steelers beating the ravens. Where are you watching? What lucky charms do you have(jersey, towel, bobble head, etc)? What dish/drink are you pairing with our first playoff win since the 2016 playoffs?
  3. What is your favorite Steeler playoff memory?
  4. The patriots, jaguars, and raiders joined the jets, saints, bears by firing their head coaches this week. Of the 6 coaches fired this year, who got a raw deal? Which of these were well deserved firings?
  5. The college football playoff championship teams will be set by the time this is published. Did you enjoy these weekday CFP finals games?
  6. Winter is here, with snow storms hitting across the eastern US. What is your favorite winter sport/activity/best thing about the cold weather?

BONUS: the betting line for George Pickens receiving yards is 52.5 yards and 3.5 catches. You taking the over or under for both?
