The Steelers should swoop in
The Pittsburgh Steelers lack many good receivers. Outside of George Pickens, Pittsburgh doesn’t have a legitimate boundary receiver, and they’ll need to rebuild the room this offseason. A great place to start would be by acquiring D.K. Metcalf.
The Seattle Seahawks star requested to be traded, and Seattle is listening to offers. Originally, it was reported that the Seahawks wanted a first and third-round pick in exchange for the Pro Bowl receiver. However, according to Dianna Russini, that asking price has gone down.
“The Seahawks’ asking price for WR DK Metcalf has lowered, per sources,” Russini said on X. “Seattle would be open to a return centered around a second-round pick for the two-time Pro Bowl receiver.”
While a second-round pick may be steep for some, it would land Pittsburgh a star at the position. Plus, if Russell Wilson is the re-signed quarterback, adding his good friend would make sense for Pittsburgh’s offense.
