The former Defensive Player of the Year is having to get used to playing against Aaron Rodgers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are getting set to put on the pads for the first time in 2025, and they have special guests on Wednesday ahead of the first padded practice of training camp.

The Pat McAfee Show took the trip to Latrobe and welcomed several Steelers on set, including Cam Heyward and T.J. Watt. Co-host of the show and former teammate of Aaron Rodgers, A.J. Hawk, asked Watt what it’s been like competing against Rodgers in camp thus far.

“[It’s] frustrating because he talks a lot of smack,” Watt said with a laugh. “He really does… and I think a lot of the no-look passes are things we’re getting used to. I like to bat down a lot of passes at the line of scrimmage, and he’s able to manipulate the defense good. So that’s been very frustrating. Hopefully today we get the better of him.”

Considering it’s unknown how much we’ll see Rodgers in the preseason, it will be very noteworthy to see how he performs when the pads go on.
