Will Mike Tomlin finally have his first losing season?

Following the NFL schedule drop, major Sportsbooks like DraftKings have already released their opening lines for each game this season. The Steelers are currently favored in just six of those games.

Those include Week 1 on the road against the New York Jets (-2.5), in what could be an Aaron Rodgers vs. Justin Fields revenge game for both sides, and the Steelers’ home opener against Sam Darnold and the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2.

Both teams will be introducing new quarterbacks. But the Steelers could do the same if Rodgers decides to suit up in black and gold.

Obviously, these lines should move if the 41-year-old, former NFL MVP signs with the Steelers – but these I’d imagine sportsbooks are still factoring that in to a certain degree.

The other four games the Steelers are favored in are Week 6, when they could potentially face the Cleveland Browns and Kenny Pickett back at Acrisure Stadium. Pittsburgh has opened as a 6.5-point favorite.

In Week 9, the Steelers are home against the Indianapolis Colts and have opened as a -3.5-point favorite. The Colts defeated the Steelers last season at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The final two are late in the season, Week 15 against the Miami Dolphins (-2.5), a team that notoriously struggles in cold weather conditions, and once more against the Browns (-2.5) in Week 17, who by then could be vying for the number one overall pick in the NFL Draft.

It’s worth noting, the current over/under win total for the Steelers at most major sportsbooks sits at 8.5.
