The Steelers are officially in the division rivalry half of their season, with a win against the Baltimore Ravens last week and a game against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football.

Earlier this week, we polled fans about their confidence in the direction the team is heading, whether or not the Steelers will have a winning record in the AFC North, and what team is Pittsburgh’s toughest remaining matchup in 2024.

Here’s what they had to say:

Most fans predict a winning record in the AFC North

The Steelers are off to a 1-0 start in the AFC North following a win over the Ravens last week, and fans expect that success to continue. Unsurprisingly, the vast majority of Steelers fans are expecting Pittsburgh to have a winning record in the division in 2024.

Pittsburgh has only played one division game thus far, but only 1% of fans believe the team will finish with a losing record. History and season trends mean that prediction isn’t surprising, but that’s still a lot of confidence.

Fans most worried about Chiefs matchup

AFC North teams always play the Steelers tough. So do the Philadelphia Eagles. But fans, unsurprisingly, see the reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs as the toughest matchup remaining on the schedule.

Kansas City suffered its first loss of the season last week, but as long as Patrick Mahomes is the quarterback, they’ll be the team to beat in the AFC. Steelers fans were also worried about the Eagles and Ravens, but the Bengals, despite a dangerous offense, were a distant fourth place.

Fan confidence… drops following win over Ravens

Last week, fan confidence hit a season-high of 97%. This week, it’s dropped a bit to 92%. Pittsburgh’s victory over Baltimore was the team’s highest-quality win of 2024 so far, but maybe the offensive sputters worried some who watched the game.

Still, 92% is a lot of confidence heading into Week 12.
