The Steelers enter Week 13 for a third straight AFC North matchup, this time against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Earlier this week, we polled fans about their confidence in the direction the team is heading and whether or not Pittsburgh should bring Russell Wilson back in 2025. Here’s what they had to say:

Most fans want to re-sign Russell Wilson

At this point in the season, 66% of Steelers fans want to re-sign quarterback Russell Wilson to a market-value deal for 2025. Most of those fans want that deal to be a one-year contract, while only a quarter of fans want multiple years.

Currently, Spotrac estimates Wilson’s market value to be in the range of $40.7 million per year, with some implied wiggle room regarding guarantees, structure, and bonuses. Ultimately, “market value” is what non-Steelers teams would be willing to pay Wilson.

Fan confidence drops following loss to Browns

After a number of weeks with over 90% fan confidence, the Steelers’ Week 12 loss to the Browns finally saw confidence falter. Heading into a matchup against the Bengals, only 67% of fans are confident in the direction of the team.

Losing to a 2-8 rival understandably killed a lot of optimism, but the Steelers have a chance to get back on track by beating a talented Cincinnati Bengals squad this week.
