The Steelers’ rookie would welcome Aaron Rodgers with open arms

Pittsburgh Steelers fans continue to wait for the news that Aaron Rodgers has signed with Pittsburgh, and are equally ready for the wait itself to mercifully end. That said, at least one Steelers player is excited about the possibility of Rodgers in a Steelers uniform.

Rookie quarterback Will Howard joined Kay Adams at the Rookie Premiere and said he would love to have the four-time MVP in the quarterback room with him.

“I idolized him growing up,” Howard said. “I don’t know what’s going to happen, who knows? That’s all over my head, but I’d love to be in a room and learn from him.”

The Steelers have reinforcements in case Rodgers surprisingly decides he doesn’t want to go to Pittsburgh. They brought back Mason Rudolph after a year in Tennessee with the Titans. Rudolph joined “Kaboly and Mack” to say what he’s bringing back to Pittsburgh.

“I think [the Steelers] know what I can do,” Rudolph said. “What we were able to do there towards the end of 2023, they’re confident in me. They know I can play well when asked of me [and] when my number is called.”

Unless something unforeseen happens, though, everyone seems to believe Rodgers will join the Steelers, giving them a room of the multiple-time MVP, Rudolph, and Howard, which is a very deep room that Pittsburgh can feel comfortable with.
